Guido Belli

Chairman

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano University, Guido also holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi. After several years in the industrial sector, he became Senior Director and member of the Investment Committee of SO.PA.F, one of the pioneers in Italian Private Equity. As a Founding Partner of Bridgepoint, a leading International Private Equity firm, he was responsible for managing Italian investments for twelve years, in addition to being a member of the Board of Bridgepoint Capital (Holdings), the Bridgepoint Group's holding company at the international level. He is a Founding Partner and the Chairman of Arcadia.

 

Simone Arnaboldi

CEO

Simone graduated from the Politecnico di Milano University with a degree in Electronic Engineering and he also holds an MBA with honors from SDA Bocconi. He began in Private Equity at SO.PA.F. after gaining experience at Pirelli and Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance. He was then a Director and a member of the Business Development Board of Bridgepoint, a leading International Private Equity firm. Later he was a Founding Partner and member of the Board of Directors of Management & Capitali, the first Italian investment company focused on turnarounds and special situation opportunities, and listed on the Milan Stock Exchange with over € 550 million under management. He is a Founding Partner and the CEO of Arcadia SGR.

 

Luca Maria Ravano

CEO

Graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University, before joining Arcadia SGR he has been Senior Partner of Fondo Italiano d'Investimento SGR. He started his career in London at San Paolo and Hambros Bank. Upon his experience at San Paolo Imi Private Equity in Milan, he has been General Manager of Aletti Private Equity SGR and Head of Investments of Aletti Merchant. Then he co-founded in 2010 Mast Capital Partners and Winch Italia SICAF, as the Italian platform of Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners (now Andera Partners) for mainly minority investments in SMEs for growth. He has completed and led about 20 minority and majority investments in Italian SMEs within different sectors and has been member of the boards of directors of several investee companies and investment committees of private equity funds.

 

Giovanni Barbujani

Partner

Giovanni holds a M.Sc. cum laude in Accounting, Corporate Finance and Control from Bocconi University, with a specialisation in Corporate Finance. Before joining Arcadia SGR, he worked at NPV SpA, a corporate finance and management consulting firm, where he was involved in several M&A transactions, financial restructurings and turnaround processes in industrial and services areas, as advisor of industrial groups, SMEs and PE funds. He was also involved in the development of NPV Capital Partners, a PE fund focused on Italian SMEs.

 

Stefano Piras

Partner

Stefano graduated cum laude in Management Engineering and holds a postgraduate master degree cum laude in Merchant Banking, both obtained at Carlo Cattaneo – LIUC University. He started his career in consulting in Accenture and PwC Transaction Services. Before joining Arcadia SGR he gained over ten years of experience in Private Equity working for Assietta Private Equity and the Edmond de Rothschild Group (today Andera Partners), completing several leveraged buyouts and growth capital transactions in the consumer goods and industrial sectors.

 

Nicolò Capo

Associate

Before joining Arcadia he worked for 6 years in KPMG, 3 of them in the Transaction Services team and 3 in the M&A team, during which, as advisor, he gained considerable experience in Due Diligence, Business evaluation and process management in different industrial sectors.

Nicolò holds a M.S.c. in Administration, Corporate Finance and Control at the Luiss University in Rome.

 

 

Valentina Fontanesi

Analyst

Valentina holds a M.Sc. in Accounting, Financial Management and Control from Bocconi University. Before joining Arcadia SGR she worked at Pirola Corporate Finance S.p.A., where she was involved in various transactions in the industrial and services sector, as advisor for industrial holdings, SMEs and Private Equity funds. Furthermore, she has been part of the M&A team of KPMG and Ethica Group.

 

Sveva Bellini

Analyst

Sveva holds a M.S.c. in Business, Law and Administration from Bocconi University in Milan. Before joining Arcadia SGR she worked at PM&Partners SGR SpA where she supported the investment team in the research and analysis of potential investment targets and drafting documents, memos and notes for internal presentations. She also worked in the Audit - Financial Services department at PwC and Management Control department at Eurizon Capital SGR SpA.

 

Rosanna Saracino

CFO

Rosanna Saracino has over 30 years experience in primary asset management companies as CFO and responsible of risk management, AML and real estate portfolio evaluation. Before joining Arcadia, she worked at Eurocasse SIM, J.T.B. Lira Services SIM, Ras Asset Management SGR, Systema Asset Management SGR, Aedes Real Estate SGR, Sator Immobiliare SGR and Alternative Capital Partners SGR.

 

Simona Quaglia

Investor Relations & ESG Manager

Simona graduated in Foreign Languages and Literature at Istituto Universitario di Lingue Moderne (I.U.L.M.) and completed the Exchange Program at the Faculty of Arts of Bristol. After an experience as Executive Assistant in JP Morgan, she moved to Delta Italia, where she managed the relationships with foreign customers. After that she joined Bridgepoint, one of the leading international Private Equity firms, as Office Manager, taking responsibility over the back office activities of the Milan office.

 

Silvia Astori

Administration Manager

Silvia attended the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Turin. After a relevant experience as Executive Assistant at Sympak S.p.A., she worked as Office Manager and Executive Assistant at Wizard Partners S.r.l., Private Equity company representing the Russian group Borodino in Italy. More recently she was Office Manager and Executive Assistant in INVIMA S.r.l., where she was also responsible for the administration activities.

 

Maria Marchese

Office Manager

Maria is attending the faculty of Law at Università degli Studi di Milano. She has worked for three years as assistant at Studio Legale Cavaldonati.

 

Walter Benati

Retail

Walter Benati is an expert in retail and consumer goods businesses. He started as a Sales Manager, and then Sales Director, at Quaker Chiari & Forti, RJ Reynolds and then General Manager of Fruit of the Loom. He was the CEO and shareholder of 4 firms backed by institutional investors: Enervit (food supplements) and United Optical (eyeglasses) with 21 Investimenti, Longoni Sport (sport equipment and clothing retailer) with Bridgepoint, and Bellora (luxury house linens) with Riello Investimenti. Walter was also CEO of Car Comauto, a leading car dealer under the brands Audi/Volkswagen/Bentley and CEO of Bentley Italia. Few years he founded few years W.B.I. S.r.l., a marketing consulting company, through which he developed several industrial projects. He is the director of the retail business unit of Vision Group S.p.A., managing the directly operated stores chain.

 

Alberto Benedusi

HVACR

Alberto has developed an extensive experience in the heating, ventilation, airconditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) businesses.
He started his career as a Production and Sales Manager and then as a Managing Director at Castel, Manuli Rubber Industries, Comenda Ali Group and Union Foam.
He has been CEO of Ecr Italy and Roen Est active in the HVACR industry.
Alberto was also Managing Consultant at Riraee, a business dealing with the disposal of electrical and electronic waste especially in the photovoltaic sector.

He is member of the Board of Directors of KFL EST S.r.l. and CBS.EST.S.r.l.

 

Alberto Frausin

Consumer Goods

Alberto, an expert in consumer goods with experiences in retailing and pharmaceutical sectors, has an impressive track record covering senior roles in leading multinational and Italian companies. He was a Brand Manager and Marketing Manager at Kraft, Star, and SC Johnson in Italy, US and Eastern Europe. He was also the Global Marketing Vice President of Ferrero Holdings and the General Manager of Manetti & Roberts. Alberto then became CEO of Zambon Group, CEO of Galbani, and CEO of Carlsberg Italia and the Center of Excellence DraughMaster TM for the global development of a new technology of beer tapping patented by Carlsberg Group. He was also Chairman of Assobirra, the association of Italian beer manufacturers. He is currently Industrial Partner of FSI and Chairman of Federdistribuzione. He is member of the Board of Directors of Starlaks Italia S.r.l.

 

Giorgio Mancarella

Financial Controller

Giorgio Mancarella is an expert financial controller. He has over 30 years of experience in administration, finance and management control in manufacturing, commercial, consulting and service companies, in Italy and abroad. For twelve years he has served as Head of Administration of Gewiss S.p.A., a leading company in the electrical engineering sector which was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange. He has been CFO of Elettroclick S.p.A., a start-up company launched by Seat Pagine Gialle for the online trading of electrical equipment. Then he has been Administration and Finance Director of Value Partners Group, a leading management and IT consulting company, where he has also served as Director and CFO of the Group's companies in Brazil and Argentina. He founded SSA Servizi S.r.l., a company active in management consulting services to small businesses and professional firms. He is the Financial Controller of Arcadia's portfolio companies.

 

Paolo Opromolla

Industrial

Paolo Opromolla is an industry business specialist with main focus on packaging, fashion, textiles, mechanics and food & beverage sectors. He held business and financial management roles in groups, investment holdings and companies of varying sizes such as Montedison, C&P Capital Investment, Marzotto and Medinvest International, and managed, inter alia, several reorganization and expansion initiatives, both on a domestic and international scale. He is currently the Executive Chairman of Peck, a leading brand in the high-end food & beverage specialties market.

 

Giorgio Pucci

Technology and Services

Giorgio Pucci is an expert in the ITC, TLC and Renewable Energy sectors. He has been a top executive of several large technology companies, mostly in ITC. He started as a Products Designer at Texas Instruments before becoming Product Marketing & Product Engineering Manager, and Sales & Marketing Director for Southern Europe. Then he became Chairman and CEO of the Italian branches of Prime Computervision, Dun & Bradstreet, Nokia and Bull. In 2006 Giorgio co-founded Enerqos SpA, a European leader in the Energy Efficiency sector. Today he is an operating shareholder with responsibility for sales and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enerqos SpA..

 

Franco Rigamonti

Food

Graduated in Economics and Management at Bocconi University, he holds an MBA from SDA Bocconi in Milan. He is a manager with a strong experience in strategic advisory and in investment activities in SMEs, mainly in the food sector. After a significant experience in Arthur D. Little, where he has developed his expertise in strategic planning, business development and organisational improvement, he has been CEO at Cose Belle d’Italia, investment holding managed by Europa Investimenti and focused on relaunching of important Italian companies under financial distress. After that, he founded his own independent boutique, which offers management and consulting M&A advisory, in particular supporting family offices and HNWI in investments in SMEs with succession issues, or for enabling growth potentials. He is now Managing Director of Giò Porro.
